Chandler Howard hails from Wilmington, Delaware where she was a four-time All State first basemen for Concord High School.  Chandler attended Rutgers University and was the starting left fielder for the Scarlett Knights all four years.  She played in three different conferences over her four years at Rutgers, namely the Big East Conference, the American Athletic Conference and the Big Ten Conference.  During her time on the banks, Chandler was selected as 3rd Team All Big East, 2nd Team American Athletic Conference, 1st Team All Region; she was a 2015 Senior Class Award candidate and earned the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award.  She has an overall career batting average of .355 and is in third place in school history for total number of hits.  

Chandler is currently completing her studies at the Rutgers Graduate School of Education.  In May of 2016 she will have her Masters of Special Education as well as her certification to teach Elementary Education.
